Freshman Transfer Applicant Questions

Hello,

I am currently at Syracuse University and am considering transferring. I love the academics here but I don’t really see myself staying here for 4 years. I am currently about to wrap up my first semester as a freshmen aerospace engineer and want to try and apply to a few top tier schools for transfer. I am currently taking in 19 credits and am taking the following classes:

Calculus 1 : A
Gen Chem : B
Chem Lab : A
Intro to Economics : B
Intro to Aerospace Engineering: A
History of Music : A
First Year Engineering: A

I also took the following classes over the summer:

Writing 105 : A
Engineering Design : A
Engineering Mathematics: A

I am already well involved with on campus leadership, internships, and research (soon). I was wondering what my chances are at the following schools:

Harvard
Stanford
Cornell
Berkeley
Purdue
U Illinois
Georgia Tech

Please advice!

Thank you!

EDIT:

I will be taking the following classes next semester:

Calc 2
Physics 1
Physics Lab
Writing 205
Engineering Computational Tools
Elective

and I’m making the assumption that I get roughly the same types of grades.

UC Berkeley accepts Junior level transfers (60 semester/90 quarter units), so you need another year under your belt before applying.

Harvard and Stanford take virtually no transfers. Cornell has quite a few but many are from CCs in NY through articulation agreements. And all 3 schools consider your HS record.

You might be better served staying till you have two years of college under your belt.
