Freshman Year GPA

So I am a freshman at James Madison University, Public Policy and Administration major. I am worried about how bad my GPA will be at the end of the year. I ended up taking a Probability and Statistics class and will probably end up with a low D or failing. My other grades are 2 A’s, 1 B, and 1 B-. and then whatever I end up finishing with in math. I’m just worried this one D or F is really gonna end up screwing me over in the future, and was wondering if anybody had any ideas how bad this is gonna hurt me when I get out of college and any other options I could take. Thanks!

Well this is a college search forum. You could take a W if it isn’t too late, that would be 10x better. You could get tutoring and try to pull a C. Are you not showing up for class? Otherwise how could you fail it? I think the thing is, if you can understand how you got into this situation and avoid it in the future you will be fine if you have a good record, most people will overlook a bump in the road freshman year.

It is too late to get a W, and I have been going to the help center, and I have been to that class everyday. But the thing that killed me was the first test was extremely easy, I got 100 on it, and then the next two tests I got a 40 and 35
