Freshman Year Pass/Fail

Does anyone know what Georgetown’s policy is toward taking (language) courses pass/fail during freshman year? If so, please share it with me. Thanks.

You can’t do pass/fail until after freshman year. They might let you make an exception though if you talk to your dean.

You can’t take pass/fail freshman year.
Sophomores and above can take one pass/fail class per semester, but it cannot be a gen ed requirement, a class for their major, or a language class below the 200 level (so you can’t take beginning-advanced of any language as a pass/fail pretty much).
