<p>After one year at Cal Poly as a Biochemistry major, I transferred to Berkeley. Cal accepted all my credits and I graduated in four years. The fact of the matter is that “Polytechnic” is part of the name because its focus is engineering and architecture. Those majors are inherently rigid and structured. If one wants diversity, transfer.
