Counter-intuitively enough, it is an upside to Cal Poly that it lacks diversity. It forces you to broaden your horizons and meet different people. In large populations with a lot of diversity, we use all our options to zone in on the group of people who are nearly exactly the same us rather than seeking out differences. I was reading about this concept in predictably irrational. Clearly the OP has so little tolerance for being exposed to people who are different from him, he has to drop out of Cal Poly and go to a community college; it is rather pathetic.
