If anyone already applied to a program, did you recieve anything saying they recieved it?

sigh… people are already applying? i just got that packet yesterday…
guess i better start picking one out before they fill up…

so no, didn’t receive any confirmation here yet, lol : /

EDIT: come to think of it, they may wait to send you anything until they have a good chunk of their applications, I think the packet said something about their comparing applicants to give every program a good variety of demographics, gender, and interests - or something like that…

except for programs like med and society, most programs are chosen on a first come first serve basis.

Sorry, what I meant was do they tell you that they recieved your application?

i haven’t gotten anything yet

Yes, they confirmed that they got my application and emailed me a few days later that I got into Habitat… all took place last week.

@southlakeTX08 … i think Selena meant “freshman/first year programs” not pre-orientation programs… Habitat is a different thing… maybe i’ misunderstood though… if you did mean pre-orientation, Selena, then yes you should get an email quite quickly.

Ok, what southlake was referring to is notification on the pre-orientation programs, which you should be getting.

If you’re talking about notification for “first year programs,” like Medicine and Society, then I don’t believe you’ll get confirmation… when I filled out the card online, it said (immediately after i hit the “submit” button, “your form has been submitted, please accept this as confirmation.” Or something like that.
which says to me that you won’t hear back until they’ve made a decision in july, or until you schedule your classes.
