<p>You should download the course catalog which you can find on the registrar’s website, and look under core requirements. They have a typical freshman schedule listed there.</p>

<p>First Term:
Ma 1a, Ph 1a, Ch 1a, a humanities/social science, an elective</p>

<p>Second Term:
Ma 1b, Ph 1b, Ch 1b, a humanities/social science, elective</p>

<p>Third Term:
Ma 1c, Ph 1c, Bi 1, a humanities/social science, elective</p>

<p>Electives are often related to the students major (e.g. CS majors should take CS 1 first term and CS 2 second term; Bio majors should take Bi 8 second term and Bi 9 third term instead of Bi 1.) They could also just be used to get requirements (such as PE or freshman labs) out of the way. Or you could take a light load of only 4 classes.</p>
