Fridge size

My sophomore friend is trying to convince me that a 2.4 cubic feet mini fridge is too small for two people. It’s about 18 x 24 x 17. What size fridge did you guys use, and did you have any fridge conflicts with your roommate?

I think my fridge is 4.3. It’s not as large as it sounds because a third of it was actually a freezer with its own door, and it has the tiniest footprint of any mini-fridge I’ve seen-- it’s just tall and thin. We didn’t have any conflicts, but obviously the fridge is sort of massive. What size you need really depends on what you use it for. I use mine for a substantial amount of stuff because I have food allergies and cook all my own breakfast, most of my own lunch, and a few of my dinners, and I keep a two gallon tank of water in the fridge in addition to a jug of juice. If you are just putting in drinks you don’t need anything large.

Ema, do we have the same fridge? mines just like that.

This is the one I have…

I guess it’s 4.4 after all.

Did you use that in a dorm room or in a rented apartment?

If you’re planning on just keeping a few sodas/leftovers/snacks in there, it’s plenty fine. If you want to have ice cream, ingredients to cook with, or larger items those little dorm fridges won’t be enough.
