Friend is moving

I want to throw her a going away party becaus eshe is such a nice person and she’s moving to NC. I was wondering if anyone has any idea of what to do with a low budget.

depends on what you think is fun

picnic at a park.
if you like basketball, find a park with a b-ball court. if you just want to play around, surely somebody has a volleyball net that you could set up. I don’t know, I’d want to through a stupid ‘little kid’ party to rejoice in the no-responsibilitiesness.

it really depends on what you want and what you make of it

swim party!!!

party on a budget?
keystone light.

FRISBEE!!! and pizza

also make it GLOW IN THE DARK FRISBEE…it’s fun…but it really depends on what you like…so like a pizza party and MUSIC…

that’s why i asked what’s their idea of fun.

party on a budget, in my mind, means a keg and a few bottles. on the beach

When I moved, my friends just threw me a party at a park nearby, and we basically just hung out, threw a frisbee around, and ate pizza. They also asked each guest if they could to bring a snack, chips, drinks, something like that. So you could lower the budget by just asking people who are coming to bring food and utensils themselves.

I don’t know, that’s what my friends and I do to have fun.

don’t do frisbee or pizza party thats lame, you will probably rarley see this friend again or might not at all so make it unforgetable. If i were you i would try to throw her biggest party, or go on some roadtrip and have alot of fun. Do something unforgetable, unique!

^^Thats what I think too

I like the beach party or pool idea. I always want to do a beach campfire thing but I dont live next to the beach :/

You can do a few kegs or tell ppl to BYOB :p. Get a local band or dance to some music (cheaper).

But it really depends on what kind a person you are. My idea of fun isnt usually yours.

Do what I did for my graduation party.

I had six guys over for breakfast. Nobody worked in the morning so I knew I’d get everyone together. Made waffles, bacon, eggs, coffee, etc. Everyone loved it, it was a truly unique graduation celebration. Gave all of them DVDs of the movies I had shot for school (of them) as going to school presents. We watched one of them when we had finished eating/talking/reminiscing/discussing our futures.

The entire thing cost me about $15. Basically a great and inexpensive way to gather seven guys, friends for many years, together one more time before college. Mine was the last “party” and was held just a week or so before the first guy left.
