Hey everyone. So I know that through our lives, we made a lot of friends in Different life stages, how many friends in the following life stages do you have?
Elementary school
Middle school
High school
K-12(only if you lived in one place during k-12)
Boarding school
Drivers ed(only if you didn’t take it during the school day)
Jr college/community college
College/uni
Grad school
Post college/career
Childhood neighbors
Part time jobs
Volunteer work
Church
Summer camps
Study abroad programs
Neighbors from anywhere else
Internship
So let’s hear how many friends you have in different life stages
High school: hundreds haha (probably 500) (everyone was friends with each other)
Childhood neighbors- my neighborhood is wack o.o don’t wanna socialize here
Volunteer work- 1 kid from my high school we worked together.
Study abroad programs- our school jazz band went to Japan to play. Made friends with the family there.
Neighbors from anywhere else
Internship- my mentor was pretty cool. Also had these two 20 year olds who did the computer stuff who were chill.
But look at it this way. There were like 250 kids per class. And I knew people because I was in alot of clubs, music especially. My school was a big music school so at band I knew like 100 kids. Then I was good friends with like 50 of my classmates and friendly with around 50-70 more of my other classmates, and I was friends with alot of juniors and sophomores. Not freshmen though, they can be annoying -_-
Elementary school - 7
Middle school - 9
High school - 0
College/uni - 1
Childhood neighbors - 1
I haven’t had a lot of friends, partially because I’m shy and partially because it takes a lot for me to consider someone a “friend” rather than just someone I know who doesn’t hate me.
Elementary school - 5
Middle school - 2
High school - 10
(Same K-12)
College/uni - 10
Volunteer work - 1
Same boat as @halcyonheather, quality over quantity. Change it to acquaintances, and it skyrockets. The nice thing is that I would say 5 of my 10 high school friends are still in touch and making an effort to keep in touch in college which is great. Some of those also overlap with elementary / middle school, so while the total people here listed is 28, I would say it is closer to 15 people. So that’s nice.
Preschool - 5-7
Elementary school - 5-10
Middle school - 3-7
High school - 10
Childhood neighbors - 5-6
Part time summer jobs - 2-3
Volunteer work - 1-3
Summer camps (during elementary) - 5-6
Elementary/middle school-15 to 20

Drivers Ed after graduation-1
Jr college-14
