So I took the SAT in january and somehow got a 2000 because i was not feeling my best that day and when i retook in May i got 2370. What will colleges think of this big jump in scores (the college i want to apply to does not participate in score choice) and how do i explain this range?

Thanks!

No offense, but they’re going to think your evil twin took the test for you and scored that high

You don’t need to explain the range. It’s fine. Good job!

If they ask or inquire about your scores, explain to them
Other than that when admissions counselors see that, they’ll see your academic growth
It makes yhu ah better candidate

Thanks guys! i was worried about it so much.

how did you make that big jump in scores? how did you study/ practice for each section? can you give me a general schedule you followed either on a daily or weekly basis in terms of studying?

I wouldn’t worry about it.

lol, I jumped 2150 to 2380 in 3 freakin’ weeks (between getting score back and testing again) so I’d have to explain more
(Jan 28 and March 12 tests)

i went from 650 (dec) to 800 writing (jan)
