Hi, I’m a current freshman at UTEP, I’m not part of the UTCAP Program but I would like to transfer to UT next year, how hard would it be and how would be the process?
What is your intended major at UT?
If you want to study in the Moody College of Communication, admissions aren’t too difficult. Good grades (3.5 GPA) should be good enough.
However, if you’re applying to McCombs or Cockrell, things get trickier. You’ll need an exceptional GPA (3.8+), a strong resume, and great reasons to transfer.
