I got accepted for summer B and they called me 2 months after getting accepted if I would like to join FSI

is it good? It sounded like a good program?

It’s great lol they pay for your summer term! Only thing is that it’s a conditional acceptance meaning you have to pass the classes with like a C I think to continue on to fall. But your situation may be different since you were initially accepted into the regular summer term so you may not have to pass all of them but you probably won’t have to worry about that anyway (:

Can someone elaborate on what these programs are about? All I know is a few of my friends are in it and have all these financial benefits.

The Freshman Summer Institute and Student Support Services are both programs based on conditional acceptance for students who don’t quite have the scores/grades/etc to be accepted otherwise.

FSI is based on financial need and is geared toward First Generation students. You are enrolled in 9 credit hours and attend weekly workshops on student success. You must finish the fall semester with certain grades to continue on to the fall semester.
