Yes, same here
Same. Iâm think they prepping for release early next week. They will probably announce tomorrow or Monday the exact timing. I would say Tuesday is the best bet right now.
This is the email I received:
You can view your admission decision in the late afternoon on Thursday, February 15, 2024 , by logging in to your **[Application Status Check]
I also no longer have an application status.
They tend to always say Thursday until the Friday or Monday before it. It happend for EA this year and also last year.
When did you receive the email? We didnât get anything. Yikes.
The college counselors got an email from FSU for their info session on the morning of Feb 15 before decisions come out, so unlike EA they arenât going to change the release date at this point.
Agree. Last year Feb 15 (Wed) was the RD release date and was not changed. EA may be a different story, but not entirely relevant for OOS students.
No, I do not have a premium account, it just showed someone from FSU looked at your profile.
I just confirmed with my wife that someone from FSU looked at her LinkedIn profile. Doesnât have premium either, just said âSomeone from Florida State Universityâ viewed in the past 90 daysâŠ
I checked mine, but nothing. I must not be importantâŠ
What time do FSU decisions come out?
4 pm
Is there an automatic gpa/act score to get oos tuition waiver? Or is it more like a floor will be set and only some applicants above that line will be awarded?
I donât think so. It is holistic, so the top students holisticlly will get the waiver.
No portal astrology?
Iâve got nothing besides the application tracking thing going away. But that happend for everyone and probably means that they uploaded all of the decisions into the system at that time.
Same here
Going to be almost impossible to get into FSU or UF this year for OOS students, unless your stats are stellar. Think 4.6+ GPA and 1500+ SAT. That is what my daughter is hearing from counselor chatter this morning.
I doubt that. I know at UF, that they donât make the distiction between in state and out of state in decisions. Donât know about FSU though.
Thatâs what we kind of figured and told our DS. Florida schools have notoriously low acceptance rate OOS.
Looking at scattergrams from last year from d24âs school, a 30 ACT and a 4.4 would get you into FSU. So youâre saying thatâs not the case this year? And whatâs the connection there for the chatter?
