<p>Wildwood Phase II:
Florida State is once again expanding its residential halls, and this dorm will offer students something other dorms don’t.</p>
<p>A groundbreaking ceremony was held this morning to kick off the construction of Wildwood Phase two.</p>
<p>This addition to the original Wildwood dorm will be a 117- thousand square foot facility that will hold 276 non-freshmen students- and have tons of amenities.</p>
<p>“Its an apartment style, two bedroom per apartment, So each student will have their own bedroom but they’ll share their bathroom, kitchen and living room space,” says Director of University Housing, Rita Moser.</p>
<p>The building will also have a student lounge, TV lounge, and laundry and storage areas.</p>
<p>Wildwood is scheduled to be open for move in August of 2012.

<p>Wasn’t the Southgate private dorm across the street from campus having some financial issues–wonder how much interest FSU has in buying it if they can get a good deal on buying it? Too, is the old, round Holiday Inn tower being used by anyone now–maybe FSU could buy that cheap and renovate it for dorms.</p>
