Extracurriculars: Ballet (3 times a week), Leadership Council in Art Honors Society, President of Asian Cultures Club, Animal Rescue Club, Community Service Club, National Honor Society member, Peer Ministry (religious organization at my school that requires members to organize events, reaching out to students etc.), and for 2 summers I was a teacher’s assistant at a children’s sports summer camp.
Freshmen year I started out with all standard classes and took all honors sophomore - senior year.
Could not take APs (but wanted to and BEGGED to take them) because guidance counselors would not let me due to low standardized testing scores, even though my grades were good. (My school does this thing where they don’t let students take AP classes unless you have a a good SAT/ACT reading score…it has to do with the school having a good reputation in the academics…counselor admitted it to me.) -.-
Currently I’m a senior and my academic clases include: eng honors, precalc honors, economics honors, standard physics, and spanish 4.
