Hi all,
I am a rising junior at a modest local university, which I am attending on a full merit scholarship. I am projected to graduate at least a semester early (maybe a year, if I can secure summer funding). I am a marketing major (international studies concentration) with a 3.6 GPA that is sure to shoot up once this semester is over and the grades update. My career goal is to start off in hospitality (I’ve lived 45 minutes away from Atlantic City almost my entire life) before eventually branching out into restaurant ownership. I also plan on eventually investing in a small winery business with my sister.
The two of us plan on wwoofing (Google it) on vineyards in France/Italy/South Africa over the summers. My question is this: I really want to attend a year-long culinary program abroad after undergrad. I am particularly interested in the culinary academy in Switzerland. Based on my background and what you know of fulbright scholarships, do you think I have a shot at getting one to study culinary arts or viniculture?
