Fulfilling Science CORE

I know you need a lab and a non-lab. I signed up to take Intro to Astronomy (it’s a Physical Science non-lab) in the fall semester. I want to take Weather and Climate in the spring as my lab science, and it is also a Physical Science. It’s one of those courses though where you need to take the 3-credit non-lab class and then the 1-credit lab class concurrently. The registration booklet says to fulfill the Science CORE, you can’t take more than 2 Physical Sciences or 2 Life Sciences. Does this mean I can’t take Weather and Climate, since I technically will have signed up for 3 PS classes (Intro to Astronomy, Weather and Climate non-lab, and the 1-credit lab class)? Or does it still count since it’s a concurrent thing, and one is only for 1 credit?
