Im just looking for a college where i can get that full college experience with a good education. Thats also in California Does anyone have any recommendations?

San Diego State?

San Jose State?

STANFORD UNIVERSITY hahahah

why are you laughing, that remark was not that funny

You seem a bit irascible? ‘Haha’ is more of just a conventional term used after a phrase or sentence to imply a light mood. I guess you’re not too familiar with modern colloquialism, are you?

Shazzy: is California “in state” for you?
What are your stats?
How much can your parents pay?
Will you need merit aid or need based aid?
Would you consider going outside of California?

By “full college experience”, I assume you mean a residential school with lots of opportunities to get involved?

Yes I’m a cali resident and merit based scholarships

Oh and I want to stay in state and yes as far as getting the full college experience your right

Do you mean that your family will not qualify for financial aid, ie., makes more than $150,000 a year? Have you run the Net Price Calculators on these websites?

In your other thread you said you have a 3.9 GPA and 6 AP’s, so you’re a competitive applicant. However, merit aid depends on SAT scores, so you should come back to post here as soon as you get them so that we can give you an idea.
In addition, to maximize your financial aid package, you’d need to be 400+miles from your state, so your only solution would be to choose a California college where your stats place you above 75% applicants.
California public universities (UCs and CSUs) give need-based aid only. You could get a Cal grant, etc, but these scholarships (grants) are based on financial need.

Now, to get back to your original question:
you want a campus that’s residential = you need to look at a campus where housing is guaranteed all 4 years and where all freshmen and almost all students live on campus.

Calif isn’t a great source for merit scholarships…especially at schools with the “full college experience.”

Do you want a school with big sports to watch and cheer for?

What are your stats? We need to know those to know where you might get merit scholarships.

Is your family low income? or do they have a good income, but can’t pay much?

How much can your parents pay each year?

If you NEED merit to afford college, you may have to go OOS.
