Full Ride for Pre-Veterinary Major?

Does anyone know if there are any institutions that provide full ride scholarships for a person majoring in pre-veterinary medicine? Or if not full ride, a decent portion of tuition covered? thanks :)

Pre-vet, like pre-med, is a course sequence rather than a major at most colleges. In other words, you can major in whatever you like, provided you get through these particular requirements for admission to vet school. Most pre-vet students major in bio, chemistry, animal science, or other majors that require most of the pre-vet sequence to complete. If you major in English or history, it might be a bit hard to fit all of the pre-vet courses into your schedule.

If you need a full ride to make your goals achievable, look for institutions where you are likely to qualify for one. Then choose a major that will let you complete the pre-vet coursework conveniently.

Good luck!

Free ride scholarships are hard to get and usually require high stats.

What are your stats?

edited to add…

Are you going to UCLA? Are you now finding that you don’t have the means to pay?
