<p>I am from Ohio and say I would receive a full scholarship and room and board for free at Miami of Ohio. Is there that big of a difference in engineering from MU to say Ohio State. I would receive some money from OSU but would still have to pick up the remaining amount as well as pay for room and board.</p>
<p>Take the full ride man. Anytime you get free money,TAKE IT. Use that money for grad school instead.</p>
<p>Depends on what school you would rather go to and how much money you’d actually have to pay.</p>
<p>If you’d rather go to the other school but have to pay 10k to do so then I would still pay it. You’ll have your whole life to work and pay off school but you’ll only get to go to college once.</p>
<p>Do you know what type of engineering you want to study? My daughter applied to and was accepted at both Miami and OSU. She found that OSU offered a type of engineering that was not offered at Miami, and it ended up being what she was most interested in studying.</p>
