Full Scholarship Carnegie Mellon?

Hello, I am an African American freshmen graduating in the year of 2017. I am hoping to attend Carnegie Mellon University for no cost, my quartly gpa is 3.71 to 4.0 what can I do to earn a full scholarship?

Carnegie Mellon does award the Carnegie Scholarship. It is for varying amounts, but info on the exact criteria are not readily available. It is based on the strength of your application.

It sounds like you are currently a ninth grader. You need to take a strong course of study in high school AND get the very best grades. In addition, you need to get a very high score on the SAT or ACT tests, have excellent letters of,recommendation, and some ECs as well. In other words…you want a very strong application for admission.

Even with that…there is no guarantee you will get a full ride scholarship to Carnegie Mellon. Their awards are not guaranteed.

Thank you very much. I’ll take that into consideration.
