<p>So, recently I received an email from the college of natural sciences saying that they will provide me with a comprehensive scholarship covering everything!! 
I just wanted to post this and see if anyone else received the same thing. This scholarship is not part of the 40 acres or the Terry Foundation. I’ve heard from my counselor that this is rather rare and does not occur very often.</p>
<p>If you don’t mind me asking what are your stats?</p>

<p>Considering the fact that most scholarship offers are sent through the mail and UT rarely gives full rides, you can hardly blame the guy for being dubious.</p>
<p>But congratulations. That is prestigious indeed. I have friends who got into Ivies/MIT (which they obviously opted for) but recieved no more than 3/4 of the total COA from UT.</p>
<p>I will admit that I was rather shocked at receiving the full scholarship offer. I will most likely accept it, but I am awaiting admissions decisions from Rice, Johns Hopkins, and Stanford.</p>
<p>And, of course, you are under no obligation to share those stats if you don’t want to. 
Will you attend if you were accepted at one of those schools? If UT wants you that bad, I certainly think you have a good chance at Rice and John Hopkins. Stanford - well, it’s Stanford, but even that seems like it wouldn’t be out of the question. Good luck!</p>
