Full-Time Job and School

Hey everybody,

Okay, I am probably going to land a full-time job that is going to be satisfying and I start Berkeley in Spring 07 as a Political Science Major as a transfer student. All i have left is Upper Division Courses? Can I manage? Is it doable. Anybody with knowledge of a similar experience.

Please Help…

Thanks,

Are you Jamaican by any chance?

I don’t think it’s possible. I mean, if you job is typically 9-5, that means you’d have to schedule every class outside of those hours, and very few classes are offered outside those hours.

I think you can petition to take less than the thirteen required units if you work more than fifteen hours per week.

Why is it few classes offered outside of the 8-5 schedule?

What happens if I petition to take less that 13units?

Not Jamaican.

No one wants to teach before 8 AM and 5 PM. The professors aren’t robots…well some of them at least.

“What happens if I petition to take less that 13units?”

Well, it’d take you longer to graduate but then it’d perhaps be easier to manage a job and taking UCB courses.

Best, Cardinal :)

Thank you all!
