I’m a Nancy born in 1955 (#9 that year), and yes, there were a LOT of us during the baby boom. At school from kindergarten through grad school, there were often two or more Nancys in my classes and teachers had to call on us by last initial. There were multiple Nancys on my dorm wing, and at my first job there were 3 of us in a 25-person department. My current boss is a Nancy.

If your 1990 name was 10th for all babies born that year, but was 14th for all babies born in that decade, then your decade name is whichever is the 10th ranked decade-name rather than the 14th.
