<p>i really enjoy attending medical conferences, but money is a problem, especially if it’s far away and i need a hotel to stay. what good ways are there at ucla to get money besides scholarships? what kinds of offices are out there to help me (and possibly a few others who might come w/ me)?</p>

<p>my particular research interests are lifestyle disorders in diet and exercise. i’m more interested in decision-making of dieters and the minds of those with eating disorders. i’ll let you know if i see any interesting conferences.</p>
<p>btw there’s an amsa nat’l conference in anaheim next march or april…</p>
