If you look at some of the best comedians, many of them have gone to ivy league schools and joined comedic clubs and then became show writers or gained fame. Why do you think the ivy leagues have seen some of the funniest people?

Well most ivy leagues appear to me to choose the most interesting and passionate people as opposed to stuffy, uptight geniuses. Many of the selected students are also extremely intelligent but their humor or personality may set them apart from the rest. That and these prestigious schools have a large gradient of students from every demographic so graduates are most likely well-rounded. :)
