Funny Sign At Hopkins

This sign is displayed on a door in the main dining hall on campus.

http://server6.theimagehosting.com/image.php?img=IMG_0467a.jpg

Enlighten me. Why is it funny? Looks just like a standard emergency exit sign.

Is this in the FFC or 3 on 33rd?

How many other signs have you seen that use the word Egress?
It's in the fresh food cafe.

Hahahaha Hilarious!

I don't see why it's funny, but I always wondered why the heck the words "Emergency Exit" couldn't sufice but then I remembered I was an engineering major and that writing is better left to the humanities.

LOL, scorp.

Yea, they put "Emergency Egress" signs up at all of the new buildings. The Fresh Food Cafe and the new Charles Commons (which are absolutely gorgeous) each have these signs plastered all over the place.

i just wish they had more food in the dining halls...

So true... http://jhu.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2209175723

Guys, the food is so much better now. So you have to wait 5 minutes to get PASTA MADE FOR YOU FROM SCRATCH or get grilled chicken RIGHT OFF THE GRILL. I really dont know why people are so upset when we all know the food now is gormet compared to last year's.

Come to the RAB dining feedback meeting Monday 9/26 at 7 in the AMRI MPR if you want to talk to somebody about it.

Also, if you live in the AMRs:

Yeah Charles Commons is gorgeous as are the new dining facilities, and the food is now made infront of you -- that's crazy awesome. (Yes, I actually said the words: "crazy awesome")

With the rest of Charles Commons open, it's actually really nice. The food's a lot better than Sodexho from last year. Even Terrace has gotten a lot better (they actually had enough trays/plates/silverware when I went for lunch over the weekend). And Ms. Ruthie's still there :)
