My daughter sent me the link to this article today regarding Princeton Review’s “The Best 300 Professors”. I think on a per student basis Furman was probably at the top of the list.

[New book by Princeton Review names four Furman professors among nation’s “best”](http://newspress.furman.edu/?p=2453)

My daughter took one of the four professors “Charles Brewer” for psychology. I think her comment to me sums up the hallmark of a great professor.

She said, “he was a GPA killer but if I had to do it over again I would. I could not wait to get to the next class and I learned more in this class then I did in my entire senior year in high school.”

Last week she went to UGA to spend the night with a friend and attended there introductory psychology class with about 300 students. She said, the lecture content was not even comparable.

Feedback likes this makes writing that tuition check a whole lot easier.
