Furman University Early Action / Early Decision for Fall 2024 Admission

Yes, absolutely! I plan on studying neuroscience/psychology  I just did another tour last week when I was in SC visiting my sister. The campus and whole area is just amazing with a lot to do outdoors. Where else is your son considering? I’m between Baylor, Furman, and Florida Tech. Florida Tech has a Forensic Psychology major which many schools don’t have and my career goal is to be a clinical forensic psychologist/psychiatrist. Baylor has an amazing neuroscience and psychology department with high placement rates into doctoral or med schools…but so does Furman! It’s going to be a tough choice!

Hi all, can anyone help someone applying this year.

I didn’t realize NPC could show merit aid (don’t qualify for need), did you find this to be accurate when decisions came out? It seems like a generous amount, are these the bell tower scholarships or is that different from general merit aid? I’ve read website but unclear if all merit is a named scholarship? Wanting to learn more if it is all 4 years, any other perks, gpa requirements etc.

My D23 didn’t wind up attending but her merit was 4k higher than the calculator. I kept a spreadsheet of expected vs actual.

She received a Bell Tower scholarship

Do you mind sharing your stats?

Do you mind sharing how much the bell tower was?

I also did a campus visit the summer before I applied, attended different zooms and webinars throughout the fall and winter, and showed a high level of interest.
Furman was one of my top choices!
