Futons

So I bought a futon for my dorm room (ill be moving in tomorrow). Should I leave it in the box and build it in the dorm when I move in or should I build it before I move in?

I’d leave it in the box. Building it could perhaps turn into a social activity if you have a roommate. At the very lease in a box it’s easier to transport.

The logistical complexities of building a futon while its still in its box is ridiculous. I’d be impressed if you manage to pull that off.

I recommend you pull it out of the box while your located in your dorm room, then proceed to build it.

C’mon StraightsJacket, apply critical thinking. One can safely presume leaving it in the box is associated with transportation given the fact the previous sentence had the verb “moving”.

I’d leave it in the box, too. It’ll take up less room in the car when it’s boxed up.

Leave it in the box. It might not fit in the elevator if you build it beforehand.

Leave it in the box…trust me…you don’t want to be moving it and have the backing snap shut on your hands.
