Future Achievements on Application

Let’s say you are working on a project or are going to get your black belt around spring time. But college applications are due fall/winter time. So if you know you are going to get the award or accomplish something before you actually attend the school next fall, are you allowed to mention it on a college application? Or do you actually have to achieve the achievement before you can put in on an application? Its a little confusing I know…

You can but put something like (est comp Mar 2010). They might ask how it went during an interview too.
