Future as a Business Student in Northeastern

So my question is if you could a 100,000 - 250,000 annual salary after years of work graduating from northeastern university

no? its common knowledge not many grads(undergrad) from any university get base salaries near 100k.

don’t just follow the money and worry about the money, be happy with your work and find what you love to do, if you want exact numbers northeastern undergraduate business grads make a median salary of 55 grand a year

the thing is that i come from a wealthy family my fathers earns about 250,000+ a year so what i would like to know if i could achieve that graduating from northeastern of course not the first year lol

You can achieve that with a degree from any University or for that matter without a degree at all.

if you work for your father then i guess it could happen. i doubt northeastern’s degree is gonna get you big bucks

In regards to collegebound41’s statement. A Northeastern degree is unbounded. There are a plethora of Northeastern alumni who have done very very well for themselves. Obviously rankings don’t tell the whole story but our school is very entrepreneurial ranked 24th by Entrepreneur magazine and The Princeton Review, and Second in the Northeast. below is a brief list of Northeastern people sourced from wikipedia. As you can see, business is very well represented.

^^u really base stuff off a list of people? every school has that, doesnt mean the school is gonna get every1 big bucks.

i asked about a good florida school, some guy started defending miami and saying nobel prize winners went there, doesnt make miami awesome tho

look boston u has a better AND longer list. does that auto make it a better school? NO

wow pulitzer prize winners, governors, the business ones are much better than northeasten(quality). Founder of Reebok. if people are gonna start their own business, etc they dont need a university to do it, its the person

[List of Boston University people - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](List of Boston University people - Wikipedia)

No the list i posted is a mere way of taking a contrarian view against your generalization of “if you work for your father then i guess it could happen. i doubt northeastern’s degree is gonna get you big bucks”. As you can see there are plenty of people that can make “big bucks” from NEU. Obviously not everyone, as this would apply to every school.

“neu degree is boundless”

every degree is boundless, its what you do with it

^thats the point i’m making. You just contradicted yourself because you stated this earlier “i doubt northeastern’s degree is gonna get you big bucks”. It’s self evident that motivation, and perseverance will lead to success which holds true for students with any sort of college degree. I am not quite sure why you are exacerbating this situation by arguing i am simply pointing out flaws in your statement.

the point was if northeastern(as in the prestige) will get him a high paying job.

exactly my point

if you want a high starting salary, look into Pharmacy or Chemical Engineering, they make (on average) $80,000-$100,000 a year after graduation. Though, I feel the work you put into it is more than one would to get a Business degree. Not saying that a Business degree is cake, I just feel that classes in the natural sciences are usually tougher.
