What makes you doubt the future of entry IB?

what I mean is, in what time horizon will banks begin to start recruiting as they were in the 2005-2007 years?

Will high paying, entry level investment banking positions exists in what, 1 year? 3 years? 5?

I don’t go to a top ivy, but a good state school where a few students (used) to get recruited by banks. I also read an article stating top IVY students are now going to Law school, etc…

Yes, I know bonus plans and pay may also go down a little.

Well paying entry positions will always exist. There are fewer positions now because some banks are gone but that doesn’t mean the rest have stopped hiring. I think the industry will be back to normal by the time you graduate. By the way, I have heard that it is difficult for non-top tier people to get into IB so you might want to look into that further. You could also apply for internships now and see if you actually like the work.
