<p>If I have finished all IGETC courses except foreign language, can I take some kind of test to fulfill the requirement instead of taking two semesters of F.L classes? </p>
<p>What’s the consequence if I do not have IGETC certification by the time I attend the new school? Do I just need to finish the classes at UC to complete my GE? GE is not my admission requirement.</p>

<p>Check with the college and major at the UC to find out what breadth you may have to take if you do not have IGETC. Those which allow IGETC allow it as an alternative to their own specified breadth requirements.</p>
<p>Engineering and business majors may be least likely to accept IGETC in lieu of their own breadth requirements, although the courses taken for IGETC may fulfill some of those breadth requirements.</p>
