I’m a sophomore at UGA and want to get into investment banking. I know UGA isn’t exactly the greatest school so was thinking about transferring to GA Tech. Is the move worth it?

I know tech is ranked far higher then UGA so though I would consider it.

Tech is more heavily recruited for new graduates, but most graduates go into MIS or OM positions just because of the technical nature of the school. At the end of the day, though, it’s your MBA that matters, and you’re likely to get a much higher GPA at UGA than at Tech, while the drop off in “quality of school” is not that much.
