<p>My son is freshman at Tulane. My sister (his “Magic” Aunt) just called and told me that she will be in New Orleans this weekend and had made reservations at Galatorie’s. She has asked my son and his roommate to dinner. This should be a fabulous experience for my son, my sister and her husband really know food and wine and their favorite thing to do is to ply others with the very best. I wish I could go. But my question is, I checked Galatorie’s website and it says jackets are required. His one and only jacket is here at the tailor’s getting the sleeves done. Should he try and find a jacket in the dorm or will they have one at the door that he can borrow?</p>
<p>I would call Galatoire’s and ask if they have jackets, if he cannot find one to borrow. They probably do, since so many tourists would not know.</p>
