Gallatin with the SAT score of the decade of the Revolution

I am a liberal, abstract thinker on the pursuit of knowledge. With such an SAT score, what is attainable? I truly am an academic personality but the SAT does not reflect that. In “Outliers”, Malcolm Gladwell agrees that such standardized tests have no value.

what? lol…

i think the SAT score is 1770

Until Malcolm Gladwell and the Dean of Admissions see eye to eye, your going to have to deal with the fact that the Standardized tests are going to heavily influence your chances.

I know how you feel, but your going to have to suck it up and boost those scores. I’d recommend taking the ACT if you really don’t like the SAT, or maybe some of their other options like Three subject tests.

What was your writing score? Last year they required writing scores to be reported, but they weren’t using them for admissions yet.

Anyway, if your going to apply RD, you should give yourself a few months before you take any tests and study your #$&* off for them.
If your an incoming senior, hop to it, your running out of time.

I don’t know what that sentence means.

The test is not designed to measure “academic personality.”

Actually, he does not, even though he endorses divergent metrics.

SAT scores reflect hard work or a smart individual. You gotta have one or the other.
