<p>Like many of her 2009 classmates, Galva High School graduate Rachel Edgell is making plans for her freshman year at college.</p>

<p>In contrast to the majority of her peers, though, she will leave the Midwest for a destination over 900 miles away — Princeton University.</p>

<p>Her high school counselor, Vicki Conner, was not surprised at the news. Conner believes Edgell is the first graduate of Galva High to attend an Ivy League institution. (continued)</p>
