Game diversion - chime in (play)

Based upon a Scenes From a Hat segment of Whose Line is It Anyway

My family’s been having fun making up our own lately. Kindly remember this is humor - no need to post anything nasty or current event of any sort related. It’s a diversion for anyone wanting a laugh and/or sharing something cute.

Infamous Last Lines (the last line someone says before they bite the dust)

Here are some we’ve come up with:

Sure that ice looks thick enough!

Here, hold my beer!

I bet I can jump that!

No, this potato salad hasn’t been out in the sun long.

Have some wild mushrooms.

Watch this!

There’s more, but you should get the idea. Anyone else want to play?

That run isn’t that steep.

9 miles doesn’t sound that long.

A dam release rafting trip sounds like fun.

There aren’t any venomous snakes on this side of the mountains

Yes, I unplugged the lamp. Now let me fix the wiring.

Just one more step back and I’ll get a great selfie.

Those waves aren’t high enough to hit us.

Don’t be silly; no one stops at stop signs in this town.

The carbon monoxide detector is always going off; it doesn’t mean anything.

That ski trail is OK to go down even though it’s roped off.

I heard that it’s fun to feed marshmallows to bears.

“Honey, let’s take the scenic route!“

Not the last words… but the last Google search: “How to juggle chainsaws.”

Come on, live dangerously!

No, I’m just going on a short hike.

What’s the worst that could happen?

“OK- just this once…”

Hey kids, I’m just going to run out for a pack of cigarettes. Take good care of mom.

I wonder how deep this outhouse is.

You hold this rope while I…

See, they were fine, so we will be too!

I know a short cut.

(There’s a horror movie called " The Ritual" (pretty good) where the characters are discussing taking a short cut. One of them says “my mom always said that if a short cut was REALLY a short cut they’d call it a ROUTE!”.

I’ll follow you…

Hey- I’ve always wanted to use one of these!

I know what we can do with these leftover fireworks…

@1214mom – that’s actually “I’ll go first…”

The Colorado River looks so inviting! Those huge signs at the top of the Grand Canyon screaming, “DO NOT ATTEMPT TO HIKE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE CANYON AND BACK UP IN ONE DAY - EXPERIENCED HIKERS HAVE DIED ATTEMPTING THIS” aren’t serious. We can do it.

(Luckily, these were not my husband’s and son’s last words, but they almost were when they got back and I was tempted to do them in myself, since I was at Park HQ filing a report on them.)
