<p>I am currently doing a gap year and I applied as a freshman to some UC and CSU schools. Next year I plan on taking 3 gen ed courses as a refresher. Would I be able to transfer these credits to when I start as a freshman?</p>
<p>if you take a class - any class - at a CC, you aren’t a freshman applicant to CSU/UC schools. You will have to apply as a junior transfer - meaning you need 60 semester units. You may be able to audit a course or two as a refresher but, if you register and ask for credit, you are hosed.<br>
