Hey guys! I received the last of my decisions and it seems I’m going to be going to either MHC or Rhodes. I’m a little disappointed about the rejections I received the past couple days, but I’m still excited and grateful about my choices. Good luck with your decisions @viphan and @Anduar3!
Congrats @dancingwriter!!! I’m beyond excited that this process is over for you and that you came out of it this year with some great choices. You’re truly talented and your accomplishments thus far speak for themselves. There’s no doubt in my mind that you’re going to do exceedingly well wherever you decide to go.
I feel attached to our little group of gap year’ers lol because you guys understand how hard it is to go through a second time, but we’re almost to the end of it and it’s been one hell of a ride.
@dancingwriter I applaud for staying tough until the end — you’ve finally made it! Wherever you go, know that this unique experience will follow you and your career.
@Anduar3 I couldn’t have put it better. It seems like we all succeeded at the end! It began with doubt and uncertainty but sure ended in success. Kudos to all of us

I was too busy yesterday, and completely forgot to update y’all today. I got into Carnegie Mellon! Really tough choices in the coming month. But extremely grateful 
Hi guys. I have being on a gap year since August working at an airplane repair center.
My results so far:
Accepted: TCU, Purdue, Notre Dame, U of Rochester, Rice and a likely from Upenn.

I got into Cornell!!! I’m beyond excited that I got into an ivy. I can finally say that I’ll be a Cornellian!!!
@Anduar3 That’s beyond awesome! I’m really, really proud of you and @viphan. Seriously. I’m honestly so happy for the two of you!!!
Where are you two going to commit? Cornell? Duke? 
Eek! As for me, I’m really torn between Rhodes and MHC. I can’t choose! But I’ll update when I finally commit to a school
I was really worried when I didn’t get a likely letter but I got in!! Woohoo!
I’m deciding between there and a full ride to Wesleyan
I didn’t get into any Ivies I applied to but I still have some great choices – Duke, CMU SCS, Georgetown, or UMich with full-ride. Tough decision to make!
I committed to Duke today and cannot be happier with my decision.

@viphan You’re going to have an amazing time at Duke. I applied ED there, but I was unfortunately rejected. I’m not going to lie. I’m jealous haha. But I couldn’t be prouder of you and the rest of you gap yearers!
I committed to Mount Holyoke College, and I’m seriously excited! I’ve already picked out my fall schedule and I’m snooping around Facebook for a roommate. Eek! Guys! I can’t believe we’re finally moving on to the next stage of our lives!
Honestly, this gap year has been a tremendous growth experience for me, and I’m seriously glad I took this gap year. However, I cannot wait to leave. I’m so done waiting haha.
