Since i’m posted so often on this board… this feels more like a community the CC Cafe… :)

anyway, how many of you thought Garden State is a good movie? I’m sure existentialists will love it… however, right after reading 2 existentialists novels and 3 short stories… i somehow didn’t like the movie as much as some of my friends did to their disappointment… :(

Harold and Kumar is such a good movie! Hilarious to say the least!

Garden State was pretty good IMO. Kind of overrated. Then again, I’m not too fond of those artsy-ish movies (those are too sophisticated for me :P).

shrek2004, you mean “bsaed on” as in the movie was made so that it could reflect the life of a french teacher at your school and her friends or it’s just by conincidence that their lives are similar to the one described in the movie?

if it were the former, then i’d love to meet your french teacher.

no she was best friends with zach braff in high school and lots of the things they did in that movie reflected what they did in high school, it wasnt actually “based on” their lives just they used a lot of what their group did during high school
