I am enjoying the low gas prices here, although my neighborhood is always on the high end at $1.99, many stations in our city are as low as $1.66.
I can probably fill my car up for about $15 bucks if I use my Kroger fuel points!

$2.18 is the lowest I’ve seen here.
$1.59 at my Costco:)
$1.87 closest to my house, but I’ve seen it a little lower.
I take the bus and have no idea what Metro pays for their gas.
(Asked Mr., and his last fill was at $2.20 (Costco near Seattle). )
$2.29 here
Paid $1.66 this week at Sam’s. Also saw it for as high as $1.99 a mile away. Go figure.
$1.97
As with the butter thread I have the most expensive gas. 2.69 per the GasBuddy App. That price is at the cheapest stations, many of the stations are much higher. The most expensive gas stations in my area are the stations right near the local University. It irritates me that the station owners take advantage of the students. If Thea tudents would drive two exits down the freeway they would save at least .50 a gallon.
I think in the $2.30’s here. The lowest I’ve paid w/o using my markets advantage card was $1.89 in NJ a few weeks ago.
I spent about 7 hours in the car yesterday driving all over the state. The lowest I saw was in the 1.70s but mostly in the 1.90s. There were a few outlying places on the freeway that were above $2.
wow @mom60 that is a huge variance. Honestly, I dont remember gas varying so much within a city when I was younger. Sure there may have been a 10-15 cents difference, but never a 50 cent variance.
Suburban Los Angeles: $2.83 at the 76 station around the corner, which I thought was pretty good until I saw all of these prices under $2.00! We also have a lot of variation. At a nearby Chevron, which is a total ripoff, it’s $3.59! It’s also more expensive down by the local community college.
Wow @Mom2jl and here I am complaining about $1.99
It was $1.67 when I drove to work yesterday, but $1.99 when I drove home. Fortunately, I filled up in the morning.
It’s down to $1.92 in the hill country west of Austin but if you go into the city you can find gas for $1.74
I have very mixed feeling about this, I have to wonder if our low gas prices are supporting ISIS, if so I’d rather pay more.
Like mom2jl, our suburban SoCal gas is currently about $2.65, and that seems cheap compared to what it was. Some of the stations still have prices around $3.50. I don’t understand how at one corner where you can see 5 gas station signs without moving, the prices have a variation of nearly $1.00.
In Northern VA I paid $2.35 for midgrade and that was at the cheapest gas station. It would be nice to pay under $2. I would love to fill the tank at $15 but it is more like $27.
$2.99 here in coastal LA County. That’s low for this neck of the woods. We would truly celebrate if it went lower…we can only hope…
Sorry if this is a thread hijack, but what irritates me is the new difference between “regular” and “premium”. For the longest time, the difference between low, mid, and high was 10 cents. Just today at the major brands it was 70 cents between the regular and premium; $1.97 for 87 octane regular and $2.69 for 93 octane premium.
I’ve read before that there is only like a 2 cent to 3 cent difference in the cost of the additive package per gallon. I know it is worth whatever people will pay, but I don’t understand why the differential is so high. Why isn’t another retailer trying to undercut? Even costco had a 65 cent differential.
