<p>What do you think my chances are of getting the gates milineum scholarship, if i have been selected as a finalist, i have a gpa of 4.5+ with all IB classes and am 3rd in my class of 368, and my parents income is less than 50, 000 from the previous year?</p>
<p>i am a student with a 5.0… 2nd rank out of 345…and my father income about 53,000… president of many clubs, team captain for tennis… top seeded player, umm and 200 hours in community service… out of a 4.0 i have a 3.9… and i am freaking out also!!! lol my friend got it last year… she had a 5.4 gpa. valedictorian, etc… i am nervous but got my hopes high!</p>
<p>Gates is MUCH more than your stats. They have an extensive application that is primarily about your EC’s and leadership experience. That will trump high stats.</p>
