<p>1 more day! My last two weeks have been very discouraging, I cant handle another dissappointment. I pray for everyone and myself…I keep doubting my confidence… Sometimes I say my financial essay wasnt good enough. or my gpa is good… i am so confused rite now! Hopefully, regardless of the outcome, I will be able to motivate myself to continue working hard in life.</p>

<p>It is a weekend to meet other Gates Scholars, go to meetings, seminars, dinners and socialize (I believe they had a dance.) They have one on each coast, one in CA and one in VA. GMS provides your air and ground transportation as well as your hotel. I don’t recall my daughter didn’t missing much as far as classes go.</p>
<p>do you remember what time of the year it was? like in august or september?</p>
<p>I’m not sure, but I believe it was towards the end of September.</p>
<p>I’m ready for this to go both ways. Either I do or I don’t get it, but if I did, it would make things much easier. I am praying that we all get that large envelope. And to those who feel discouraged, don’t be, because you’re probably bringing yourself down for no reason.</p>

We all assume it is a BIG envelope as in previous years, but please confirm. Information is so nice when you are as nervous as we all are. Thanks!</p>
