<p>It shouldn’t change the results since letters have been sent out but I really, really hope we start getting these letters in the mail today or tomorrow. I’m thinking in someone on CA got there’s yesterday, maybe texas and midwest will get there’s today. And the east coast by tomorrow at the latest.</p>

<p>You’re right. It’s strange that we’re not getting emails. In fact, I haven’t seen where anyone received an email on this post or I missed those posts. Have you? Everyone seems to be getting letters. </p>

<p>Since I have twin boys applying and one who got the 0-5 message and one who didn’t, as soon as we get the letters or an email I will post the results of both. I am still hoping the person who got the letter yesterday will post the results from his call to help clarify.</p>
<p>I really am trying to be patient, but I’m all the way on the east coast in south Florida. Hopefully, the e-mails and letters start pouring in. Anyone from Florida got anything?</p>

<p>So the son who got the 0-5 message received a packet today. </p>
<p>My son who received letter in the mail message did not receive anything. (At least not today). I will keep hope until he receives a rejection letter.</p>
<p>I am both thrilled and sad simultaneously.</p>
<p>I’m sorry, I said packet. It’s a regular envelope. There is also an option to upload your documents instead of faxing them. Also April 8th is the deadline to have the documents in and it says in late April you will be mailed a letter notifying you of your GMS status.</p>

<p>We are African American and it was UNCF. The letter came out of Washington, DC. I assumed it was being mailed from CA though I’m not sure why I assumed that.</p>

<p>With calculating results from 2011 thread. It looks that final announcements would go out April 12th or 19th. Yikes, I’m hoping for the 12th as $$ is due to my first pick college by May 1st.</p>
<p>If the trend continues, Texas residents would know something by April 17 or by April 24. Praying for the April 17th notification.</p>
<p>@scuba9026 from what I understand (and I’m no expert) but most colleges will wait on funds once that know that you have a scholarship on the way and not harrass you for them personally. They usually have you bring in the letter verifying that you are the recipient of a scholarship and the amount and the FAF office clears you enroll and all of that good stuff.</p>
<p>You should follow up with the FAF office at your college to verify how they do it.</p>
<p>Ya, but I think these are the funds needed to reserve your spot. I plan on attending a private school (Trinity University). “Early Action have until May 1 to submit their $500 deposit or decline their offer of admission.”</p>
