<p>School Profile is optional, meaning only if a school has made up such a profile for individual students, if so then you still don’t have to send in your ACT/SAT scores because GMS doesn’t look at the standardized test scores. Good Luck :)</p>
<p>How long does it take for the office of GMS to send you emails regarding, whether you are selected as a finalist or not. I received mine on March 7 at 2 pm but my friend still hast. I was wondering if someone could clarify me on the date range of the email/mail notification. Thanks :)</p>
<p>zestyzenith - Finalist emails were all sent March 7, as best we can tell from this site. Some came in afternoon, and others evening. Emails were sent to both finalists and nonfinalists. Additionally, all finalists received a letter in the mail right around the same time. So if your friend is a finalist, they should have both an email and letter, and if a nonfinalist, at very least an email. If they haven;t gotten anything they should definitely call GMS offices and inquire.</p>

<p>What do the GMS representatives look at in a finalist? Is it just the financial status or high GPA? or anything else.</p>

<p>Wow, 4 students from my high school are finalists for the GMS. And our school isn’t ranked in the top 100, or even top 200 in the country. I don’t think we’d rank in the top 15 in the state either, but it was started 5 years ago.</p>

<p>@Azscholar17, i am a finalist and was wondering what does GMS actually pay for? Like if you live off campus is your rent and living expense covered? And why wouldn’t summer courses be paid for?</p>
