<p>Thanks. The selection process is very unpredictable. I believe that to be chosen as a finalist out of a applicant pool of 54,000 is already deserving of an award. I hope we all find our way to success and dreams.</p>

<p>I’m heading to Rutgers University New Brunswick. Although I got into other school considered “better” I felt that Rutgers had so much to offer me. The issue at hand now is that I’m an out of state student. $41,500 for me per year :-(</p>

<p>I feel you. I took the plunge and applied Early Decision (binding) to Cornell. Cost of Attendance: $62,000/yr. I got a decent financial aid package, but I’'d have been DOOMED if I didn’t get the Gates.</p>
