Your ds must be extremely intelligent and involved.

Still hoping praying and anxiously biting nails, waiting for that mail (giant juicy huge letter perferred ) Good luck to those in gates limbo like me. im certain you all deserve it.

im still waiting on mine. i hope to be with you and be apart of the gates millennium schoalrs program as well.

good news is something i am currently lacking right now. multiple rejection letters, prom last min flake… you name it. But im keeping a positive outlook and grateful for what i have (hopefully the gates letter package can end it lol

today was very stressful. checked the mail to find a letter from another local scholarship rejection letter. i wonder when AZ folks get notification?

@queenm860 can you please elaborate on that. what do you mean? I did submit all the materials but was there something else that needed to be done?

yea please do…i hope i didnt miss anything…i just figured everything was uploaded to the site electronically when i checked my upload history. so hopefully the institution received everything. because i made sure i sent everything.

A friend of ours in Texas Houston got scholarship notice 9 hours ago. Big envelope. Over 54,000 applied and 1,900 were selected as finalists. 1,000 became Scholars so less than 2% of applicants got scholarship. That’s tougher than getting into Harvard. Status on-line still says “Finalist”.

-@midoriapples just call 1-877-690-4677. It will take you into voice mail. Press 2 to designate that you are a nominee. Then enter your ID number (your zip code (5 digits) plus last 4 of your phone number for total of 9 digits. It will then ask you to enter your date of birth. It will then tell you, “A letter has been sent.” And it will tell you, “We’ve received 5 of the 5 documents needed.” That tells you that your 5 documents were for sure received by the April deadline and that GMS will consider you for a potential scholar. If it says that your documents were not received or that only 3 of 5 documents were received, then my understanding is that you cannot be considered for scholar decision. Hope that helps. Don’t stress. You all are amazing kids and I’m sure good things are in your futures. Still no word here in Oklahoma. Praying for a big white envelope. But daughter got notification of amazing scholarship opportunity at Notre Dame last week so all is not lost if God has other plans.

You are both very welcome. Glad I could relieve a little bit of your stress. I’m nervous as a parent, so I’m sure the anticipation for you guys is through the roof! You guys go to sleep. I presume you have school tomorrow. And tomorrow God will hopefully send you you AMAZING news in your mailbox. Goodnight.
